“仁东说念主”指有慈详之心、有德行的东说念主，“志士”指有遍及志向、坚韧领略和崇高节操的东说念主。也说“志士仁东说念主”，多泛指疼爱国度、民族，为国为民出力的东说念主。他们尊崇说念义，为了正义工作而宁愿自我放弃，为众东说念主建树了步履典范、精神轨范，为后东说念主所爱慕。

A Person with Compassion， Integrity and Resolve

Renren means benevolent and moral people. Zhishi refers to one with lofty aspirations， resolve and integrity. This expression usually refers to a patriotic person who works for his people and country. Such individuals have a strong sense of right and wrong， and will sacrifice themselves willingly for a just cause. Their actions and spirit are much respected models for later generations.
